I bought a netgear WG111v2 wireless adapter from ebay. When i received it the box was sealed like it came from the factory but on the box it said WG111 and all other information on the box was in foreign writing, so when i opened the box the adapter had WG111v3 on it and the instruction manual was foreign So i contacted the seller and he said just send me the adapter back and he will replace it for the WG111v2 but i was not happy with that as he is selling factory refurbished one's with 90 days warranty cheaper and how do i no he won't send me a factory refurbished one. So i sent him reply saying i think it will be best for me to send the complete item back to you and you replace it with a new one as the installation manual is foreign and also the information on the box. If i send just the adapter back then you send me out just the adapter i will be without a english installation manual and a installation cd for the WG111v2. So this is the reason why i want to send the complete item back for a replacement. Also would you refund the cost of postage if i sent the item back to you for a replacement. Then i got a reply saying I'm not able to offer an exchange on the box, instruction manual or CD. If you do not want to just accept an exchange on the adapter itself, please return the whole item for a full refund.
But does a full refund mean my postage costs. If this happened to you what would you do would you send the item back and hope he pays what you payed for the item and the cost for the p+p at the time he sent it out and the cost of me sending the item back to him. I may seem a bit tight losing the cost of postage but as it was not my fault i think the seller should pay it as i need to go and buy another adapter now and the way this is going it might been better to bought it from a shop. The reason why i need the WG111v2 as this usb wireless adapter works with linux.

Hello!

I've joined this forum as I have an interest in furniture design and making, and also - I must admit - would like to see if anyone might be willing to assist in a specific project.

The project I have in mind has a novel twist to making furniture from recycled materials, and is something I have been working on for the past 5 or 6 years. During this time I've been working with a well established designer, but we have encountered a number of problems with an engineering firm that we are using for the fabrication.

Accordingly I'm wondering if anyone who is a member of this forum and who has skills in both metal and wood fabrication might be interested in getting more closely involved in the project, or indeed might know of someone who could have an interest. The designer I'm using is based in Ipswich, and so it would be great to try and find someone close by.

I can imagine its a long shot, but will be pleased to provide further details on the project on a personal basis if anyone is interested.

Thanks.
